Primary responsibility for maintaining Supplier Master data across IDEX Health and Science.
Responsible for administering and approving employee expense reports for multiple sites with associated journal entries for T&E as well as P-card spending.
Weekly posting of freight expenses for multiple sites.
Responsible for performance of key internal controls on a monthly basis.
Participates in annual SOX testing; gathers/prepares documentation for various internal/external audits,
Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.
Assist in 1099 reporting.
Back-up responsibility for fixed asset reporting including asset set up in BNA and rolling 5 year physical audit of fixed assets.
Improving accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
Participates in inter-departmental projects and inter-site projects as required to support business decisions.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required;
Experience with ERP accounting systems is required;
A minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting and finance responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred;
Proven experience in performing, reviewing and analyzing accounting and financial reporting requirements;
Experience in compliance and internal controls preferred;
Ability to create and follow work instructions.
Experience with Sales Tax reporting a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to partner effectively within and outside the accounting department.
Consistently operates at the highest level of integrity and is never willing to compromise with regards to ethical standards.
